La grabación base corresponde a una producción de Televisión Española, realizada en el Teatro Monumental de Madrid, el 24 de febrero de 1995, teniendo como intérpretes a Lynda Russel, soprano, Jean Rigby, contralto, Mark Tucker, tenor, y Stephen Roberts, bajo, acompañados por el Coro y la Orquesta Sinfónica de RTVE, bajo la dirección de Miguel Ángel Gómez Martínez (www.miguelgomezmartinez.net).
